Our first stop is the captivating Wadi El Ryan, an area that was declared a Protected Area in 1989. Our exploration starts at Wadi Hitan Protected Area, also known as the Valley of the Whales, which is situated around 90 km from Fayoum. This remarkable site has earned recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to the discovery of whale fossils dating back 40 million years. Prepare to be awestruck by the ancient skeletons found here.

En route to Wadi El Rayan Water Falls, we will pause at the fascinating Mudawara Mountain. Continuing our journey, we will reach the captivating Wadi El Rayan Water Falls. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression nestled in the enchanting western desert. It comprises two interconnected lakes, separated by Egypt’s only waterfalls. These waterfalls were formed in 1970 when excess drainage water from the surrounding farmlands overflowed into the area. The tranquil beauty of this place is sure to leave a lasting impression.
